September to November is the ripe rice season in the mountains of Mu Cang Chai in Yen Bai, Vietnam. And also the most beautiful tourist season here.

The highlight here is the model of growing wet rice in the style of a terraced field. Mostly ethnic people living with their very own local culture.

Where is Mu Cang Chai?

Mu Cang Chai district is located in a high region of Yen Bai province, nearly 300 km from Hanoi to the Northwest and nearly 130 km from Sapa. You can go here by car or motorbike from Hanoi or Sapa
